Exotic people, strange customs, a flood of new sights, new sounds and new smells. To travel across Europe in the late 19th century was to discover entire new worlds. For venturesome little Perrine, it is an adventure that changes her life forever. Travelling from the Balkans to France, she searches for her grandfather, and when she finally finds him, Perrine realises her adventures are far from over.
